Day Gang gets it done no matter what the challenge

Southern Nevada native Day Gang might just be considered the Danica Patrick of the real estate business and off road racing.  In both areas of expertise, she has her foot-to-the-floor generating nothing less than Victory Circle results.

A real estate agent by day (and night when necessary) with Universal Realty in Henderson, the energetic Day has risen to become one of the best whether she’s flying through the desert in an off-road race car; competing in a Rotax go-kart or  guiding clients through the complicated and sometimes intimidating world of real estate.  The awards in each field are numerous dating back to her first year in real estate when she sold 43 homes; or her first karting championship 18 years ago.

Day is both humble and personable. Her respect and care for clients are evident at first meeting and her numerous testimonials tell her story well.

“In addition, Day’s biggest strongpoint is her attention to detail,” explained Scott Beaudry, the broker-owner at Universal Realty in Henderson. “She will never fail. It’s not in her vocabulary.

“This business centers around your reputation and Day is the most honest person you’ll ever meet. She will bend over backwards going to the end of the earth to complete a real estate transaction.”

Among Day’s biggest fans are her grandparents who saw their granddaughter complete the sale of their house in Henderson despite some very challenging issues during the transaction.

“Our house was a very difficult sale,” recalled her grandfather Ken Freeman, Sr. who lives just east of Cedar City, Utah. “Day worked tirelessly to get the job done.  I’m not sure many other real estate agents could have completed the transaction.”  Added her grandmother, Marian, “She has always been a go-getter. She not only participated in all the sports but also made the high school state finals in pole vaulting. Whatever she has done, she has excelled and the same held true when she sold our house back in 2000.  “The difference with Day is she is so socially-oriented so she makes friends with everyone and she is constantly running into someone she knows.”

The plaudits are posted throughout the real estate world including www.incredibleagents.com, a site that not only lists testimonials but also ratings of agents throughout the nation.  “Day is very responsive, helpful and knowledgeable,” says a post from Art and Vicki Wennerstrom. “We have bought and sold with her.”  Carmen Broezell added, “Day is a great realtor. To Day, the real estate business is both exciting and rewarding.  “In real estate, my honesty is the key reason for my success,” said Day, who specializes in first-time homebuyers along with REO and short sales. “I enjoy the first time buyers because they are so eager and they are also so appreciative for the work I do for them. To see them get their dream-come-true provides a true sense of satisfaction.”

With so many other realtors leaving the business in the past five years, Day has prospered primarily because of the hundreds of referrals which have led to continued business. She has earned Victory Circle accomplishments in venues including motorsports and on various real estate-related web sites.

In real estate, Day has captured numerous awards since 2003 including the Top 10 Earning Agent and the Diamond Award for closed escrows from $19-$15 million, to name a few. In fact, she has been a top listing agent and buyer’s agent throughout her career.   Her designations are numerous and include the SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource).

While she may be one of the busiest real estate agents in the state, Day also finds time to help charitable events several times a year.  An example of her effort to participate in causes, Day spent a week at a Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation camp helping youth suffering with cancer and bleeding disorders while also racing in the M.O.R.E (Mojave Off-Road Racing Enthusiast) event where all proceeds benefit Women’s Cancer Research Institute Breast Cancer Research.
